Glue Scientific Report

Aim-

The purpose of this investigation is to find out which of  the three different glues is the strongest and which one can hold the most. The three glues are:

1.     ‘Selleys Aqua here PVA Exterior Woodworking’

2.     ‘Selleys Aqua here PVA interior wood glue’

3.     ‘Parfix PVA Wood Glue

We also need to find out whether wood sticks better with plastic or wood. To find this out are using the glue above.

Hypothesis-

I believe that the item that will stick better with wood will be wood. This is because the two items both have exactly the same size and surface material. The glue that is going to stick these two items the best will be

‘Selleys Aqua here PVA interior wood glue’

This is because this glue is designed for two pieces of wood to stick together strongly without movement between two pieces of wood.

the worst day of my life

If i asked you what was the worst day of your life? what would you come up with, misted the bus, forgot my lunch or got grounded.. If thats what you would say, i wish thats was the worst for me, But sadly no.

it started of like a normal day. Went to school had a good day. The bad day didnt begin till the bus ride home. the stupid bus driver forgot to refuel the bus before taking us, and we had to wait for this guy to get some fuel which was going to take forever. I rang my mum and lukily mum was working just across the road at the AIG bank. i thought this is perfect mum can take me home.

I was wrong!!!.

it turns out that the bank just got a new safe and the sercurity was getting fixed.

As i was sitting in mums office waiting for her to finish all her work, i glanced over to the elevator and a group of people with masks on came out with guns and lots of bags.

One of the men shot two shots into the air to alert they were there. they told us to get down and not to move. Instead i thought i would just run down the stairs to a door, and run out the door, but all of the doors were locked. there was no way of getting out. they saw me run and the chase was on, them against me. I didnt have anything that was on me to hurt them, and they had guns. I had no chance. All i had was a phone. which when i realised that i had it i called the police straight away while i was hiding in the closet, that i jumped into.

once i called the police and they were on there way, I peeped my head out of the closet to see if anyone was there. there was no one there, and i had a chance to go to a different spot and hide there.
I was all alone, hiding by myself, no one to save me from these armed men and afraid for my life.
I didnt know what to do next, other then run for my life. I heard sirens and got really exited. I ran to the closest window and saw police cars turning the wrong way. They didnt believe me that there was something wrong. They wernt comming!!!!

I was doomed. no one comming to save me, bad guys trying to kill me and no way to get out of it.
I had a brilliant idea, if the police didnt believe me then mabey the fire fighters would. i saw a fire bell on the wall and i knew if i rang that the fire fighters would come and see the guys with guns.
i rang the bell and i echoed across the whole bulding. the robbers soon found out what i was doing, and i knew they would so i ran as fast as i could to the nearest office and waited, and waited and waited. til finally i heard sirens come racing towards my direction. im gonna live, im gonna live!!!!

the blurb

The blurb is what most people call the trailer to the book. The blurb shows the interesting parts of the book.
After looking at the blurb the reading desides wheather they want to open the first page, and tiger trouble did that for me. The blurb interested me by telling me about all of what the book is about and i got hooked.

the front cover design

The front cover is the first thing the reader notices when picking up the book. The cover needs to be apealing anough for readers to notice while in the shelf.


The cover of my book now has done this very well because of the bright colours of the sean around sam. The front cover has to give you an image of what the book is about and gives you an idea of were it is going.

whats in the title

The title of a book is one of the most important priorities when writing a novel.
The title of the book you pick up is meant to real you in and get you interested anough to start reading the first page.
I belive this book i am reading 'Tiger Trouble' has done this very well. straight away i was hooked on. i thought that the title  is adventures and thats the kind of book i like.
the title is meant to tell you what type of book it is, Is it adventures or is it sad.

tiger trouble

This book I am reading at the moment is a book for people that dont read alot, but like a bit of action. So far during this book, 'sam fox' (the main character) is in india for his brothers cricket match, and has found out about an illegal baby tiger trade for alot of money. so far there has been alot of action, sam has been chased by angry indians and his bag has been stolen.
what will he do.
